UPP Exploration Information Session

An exploration is underway to assess the possibility of converting the University of Waterloo’s registered pension plan (RPP) to the University Pension Plan (UPP), a jointly sponsored pension plan for Ontario’s university sector.

You’re invited to participate in this upcoming information session to learn: 

• Pension fundamentals, including the current University RPP 
• Why Waterloo is considering a conversion to UPP
• An introduction to UPP and how it compares to Waterloo’s RPP
• What a potential conversion process would involve

This session is open to University employees and retirees and will be available in person and virtually. A recording of the information session and related resources will be posted to the UPP exploration website after the event.
