Meet the VPAF Jacinda Reitsma

Vice-President, Administration and Finance

Jacinda Reitsma is Vice-President, Administration and Finance at the University of Waterloo, provides leadership, oversight, and responsible stewardship of the University’s financial, human, physical, and technological resources.

Prior to joining the University of Waterloo in 2022, Jacinda held senior leadership roles at Conestoga College and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.  She brings a strong background in audit services, capital planning, organizational leadership, board governance, and financial planning within complex institutions.  

Jacinda is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and holds a CPA, CA designation.  She has extensive board and association experience and is a current board member of the Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO), Enova Power Corporation, and Starling Community Services. 

As Vice-President, Administration and Finance, Jacinda is committed to supporting Waterloo’s mission and values by building resilient operations, strengthening institutional capacity, and contributing to a vibrant and sustainable University community.
