Short biography
Xuezhi Yang received his B.Eng. degree from Anhui University, China, in 1992, the M.Eng. degree from Hefei University of Technology, China, in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree from The University of Hong Kong, China, in 2003. From 2006 to 2007, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada. He is currently a professor in the School of Computer and Information at Hefei University of Technology. His research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, automated interpretation of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery, and automated visual inspection system.
