Orientation Week Raffle – Each year, we are thrilled to welcome the incoming first year class into our UW Optometry family! Throughout orientation week, we host a raffle featuring numerous prizes – ranging from optometric equipment from our sponsors to gift cards supporting local businesses. All funds go towards purchasing equipment to be used on our mission trips.

Photos with Santa - Every Christmas, a group of our professors dress up as Santa and his elves. This allows the students to take Christmas photos with their favorite professors! We also sell decorated hot chocolate. It is a fun way to get into the Christmas spirit during final exams. The funds raised during this event goes towards patient care on trips.

Valentine Candy Grams - A fun way to send well-wishes to our fellow optometry students and faculty on Valentine’s day.

Eye Ball Silent Auction – To raise money in support of our mission trips, we host an annual silent auction on the evening of our largest social event of the year, the EyeBall Formal. Our prizes feature generous donations from corporate and local sponsors.
