Uniting Researchers with a Shared Interest in Vision
Of all the senses, sight must be the most delightful.
The Waterloo Eye Institute Vision Science Consortium (WEI VSC) connects researchers from across the University of Waterloo who are working to understand, protect, and enhance human vision. Our members' work spans three broad pillars — Fundamental Sciences, Applied Studies, and Societal Impact — reflecting the full breadth of vision research happening here, from basic biology and technology development to clinical applications and community impact.
By bringing this community together, the consortium fosters new connections and collaborations, strengthens the environment for our students, and helps showcase the depth of vision science at UWaterloo.
Explore our member directory to learn more about our researchers and their work, stay up to date on upcoming events, and follow the latest news from our community.
