Applying: When and where

Applications should be made as early as possible in the fall. The Program Admissions Committee begins to consider and evaluate applications at the beginning of February. You may apply to either university. Most often students apply to the home university of their proposed supervisor. In most cases the faculty’s research interests and current projects are provided in our faculty page. This will help you to decide on who you may want to work with during your graduate studies. It is also a good idea, although not mandatory, for you to contact prospective supervisors early in your application process to discuss your goals and aspirations for your studies.

In addition to this joint program website, you should visit the University of Waterloo Graduate Studies website and Wilfrid Laurier University Graduate Studies website for campus-specific application procedures and requirements.
