Since 1957, the University of Waterloo has delivered an educational reputation recognized around the world.
The Environment and Business undergraduate degree program is recognized for its environmental leadership with its number one ranking in the Corporate Knights survey of how well sustainability considerations are integrated into business programs at Canadian universities.
Waterloo prides itself on its high performance in Maclean's Canadian university rankings. In the magazine’s reputation survey, Waterloo has placed first as best overall of all universities in Canada, 13 out of 15 times. Located within Canada’s famous technology triangle, Waterloo is known as the “Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)” of Canada. In the spirit of innovation, over 40 years ago Waterloo was one of the first universities with an entire faculty dedicated to the study of environment. Today, the Faculty of Environment strives to create smart solutions to the environmental issues in the business world.
The University of Waterloo is famous for being one of the first universities to introduce co-operative education. Waterloo now has the largest co-op program in the world. Students accepted into the co-op program are able to apply theory in practical settings, connect their learning experiences to the real world, decide on a career path, and help pay for their education.

Message from Vice President of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics Professor Xu Chengming
Internationalization is an essential education philosophy of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics (NUFE). Based on cooperation with foreign high-level universities and innovation of talents training mode, NUFE provides students with a favorable platform for development by fully utilizing advantages of both NUFE and foreign universities. Up to now, NUFE has established and maintained close collaboration and exchange relations with famous public universities in Canada, America, United Kingdom, Australia and others all over the world. Different level programs have been set up to meet students’ different requirements.
As one of the most important programs in the internationalized education of NUFE, Program of Business Administration (Environment and Business) was established cooperatively by NUFE and University of Waterloo, which is one of the top universities in Canada. The joint academic program at the undergraduate level has started in 2007. The first group of students in the program was enrolled in the University of Waterloo in August 2009. The two universities will deepen cooperation and recruit students in more extensive fields. Using advantages of the two universities, we will make joint efforts to cultivate compound talents of global outlook.
