A monthly film series featuring a screening of a film with queer themes along with discussion. This month's movie is Portrait of a Lady on Fire. Written and directed by Céline Sciamma and starring Noémie Merlant and Adèle Haenel, this 2019 film won the Queer Palm and best screenplay awards at Cannes and was ranked #30 on Sight and Sound's list of greatest movies ever made.
The Queer Film Series is open to everyone on campus and the screenings are free but registraton is required.
Popcorn will be served!
Future screenings will be on the third Thursday of each month.
