Fall 2014 moving dates
Residents of UWP, V1, MKV, REV, Minota Hagey, Columbia Lake Village-South
» You must move out 24 hours after your last exam.
NOTE: You will receive an email on November 10 from Waterloo Residences indicating when your final exam for the term will be.
All residents are expected to move out of residence 24 hours after their last exam.
Residents of CLV-North
» You must move out on Wednesday, December 31, by 12 noon.*
Any student found to be residing in their room beyond the 24 hour policy will be charged $100 for every day they stay. You are not permitted to stay with other residents, you must vacate residence completely.
If your room does not pass the inspection you will be held financially responsible for any cleaning or repairs.
Upon vacating your room, if you are not returning to that room next term, an inspection will take place to assess standards of cleanliness. Items left behind will be disposed of which will also result in a charge to your account.
When you move out, your room is expected to be in the same condition as it was when you moved in.
Winter 2015 residents
Staying in the same room?
If you're returning to the same room, it's not necessary to remove your belongings or to return keys. We do suggest that you take home any valuables.
Moving to a different room or residence?
Are you an international, out-of-province, or student with a postal code beginning with K or P?
If you are moving to a different room or residence for the next term you are required to submit a storage request to make arrangements for your belongings.

Moving out for winter 2015?
Be sure to remove all your personal belongings.
Please return your keys, ResNet ethernet card and cable (if applicable) to the Front Desk. Failure to return your keys will result in a $50 charge to pay for a lock change.
Any items left behind will be disposed of which will result in a charge to your account.
Address changes must be made through Canada Post prior to your moving date. We are not able to forward mail to your new address.
