Workshop Overview:

In today’s rapidly changing work environment, building strong and impactful work relationships is crucial to innovation, efficiency, and organizational success. Emotional Intelligence is the ability to read, understand, respond to, and manage the emotions in ourselves and others. It encourages self-awareness, internal self-regulation, and the exploration of diverse perspectives. Through effective and authentic communication, emotional intelligence will create positive relationships within our personal and professional lives. 

Emotional Intelligence at Work will provide participants an opportunity to focus on applying emotional intelligence in the workplace. For an introduction to emotional intelligence, we strongly recommend Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Fundamentals prior to participating in this workshop.

Learning Outcomes: 

  • Understand emotional intelligence and the power of recognizing your feelings 

  • Develop and practice skills and approaches to increase emotional intelligence 

  • Understanding the impact of emotions on communications 

  • Practice communicating with empathy and reading non-verbal cues 

  • Manage difficult people and tricky situations in the workplace
