Monica Maly is one of 10 recipients of the newly launched Graham Seed Fund, which aims to strengthen the University’s health system partnerships by providing resources for collaborating directly with health providers and clinicians.

For her project, “Electronic-free, closed-loop soft robotic regenerative system for assisting people living with knee osteoarthritis,” Maly is partnering with Arthritis Society Canada.

Two other researchers in the Faculty of Health were also successful: Dean Lili Liu and Charity Oga-Omenka, both from Public Health Sciences. In total, 10 research proposals received funding from the 34 that were submitted to the University’s Health Initiatives team.

Congratulations to Maly and all the recipients!
