Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day is an international event where users of GIS are encouraged to open their doors and share how they use this technology.
Highlights from the November 20, 2024 event at the University of Waterloo included:
- An open house in the library's Geospatial Centre with cake and refreshments sponsored by WAGS.
- Hands-on getting started workshops on GeoPython with Google Colab and using pre-trained AI models in ArcGIS Pro
