The Facility is equipped with 6 systems covering a wide range of capabilities from API based systems (ESI, APCI, DART and ESCI) to high vacuum systems (EI and MALDI) coupled to UPLC and GC:
- Waters Synapt G2Si HDMS QTof: High-resolution hybrid quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometer with integrated Travelling Wave Ion Mobility (TWIM), combined ESI and APCI (ESCI) ion source and UPLC. AP GC/MS has recently been added.
- Thermo Scientific Q-Exactive Orbitrap: High-resolution hybrid quadrupole-orbitrap mass spectrometer with APCI, DART and ESI ion sources and UPLC.
- Bruker Autoflex Speed: Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization (MALDI) time-of-flight mass spectrometer.
- Thermo Scientific LTQ-XL: Low-resolution Linear Ion Trap with ESI, APCI and MSn and a Vanquish Core UPLC (infusion and LC/MS).
- Thermo Scientific LTQ: Low-resolution Linear Ion Trap with ESI and MSn for infusion.
- Thermo Scientific ISQ: Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (EI GC/MS) quadrupole system.
- Agilent 5975B: Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (EI and CI GC/MS) quadrupole system.
