The Rotman International Trading Competition (RITC) is an annual event that brings teams of students and their faculty advisors from universities worldwide to participate in a unique 3-day simulated market challenge. Teams are invited to participate in various activities including electronic and outcry trading cases, seminars with industry practitioners, and social events with their fellow competitors from around the world!
Four Math Faculty students will be selected, preferably from upper year students, from the application pool to create a team that will represent Waterloo at the RITC 2023. You will be informed about the team composition sometime in the summer. The Waterloo team is expected to start meeting, virtually or otherwise, sometime in October for training sessions. Your team coach will be introduced to you at this time. You are expected to commit to and be available for this training.
