Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo is the program of choice for students seeking an interdisciplinary education that is highly integrated and focused. The program was introduced in 2003 with an initial cohort of 120 students. Beginning in Fall 2014, the program will accept an additional 45 students for a total of 165.
