Teaching assistants are an integral part of successful course delivery. In order to recognize excellence in teaching among our Teaching Assistants, the School of Planning has introduced a new annual TA Award program. Instructors are asked to nominate TA's who have demonstrated commitment to the student learning experience through their outstanding efforts in a course.

OPPI Symposium 2016 !

Healthy Communities & Planning for the Public Realm

This year’s OPPI Symposium will be hosted at the Hamilton Convention Centre on October 5 & 6, 2016!

Pragma Council was pleased to recognize the contributions of Ashley Rudkevitch, graduate planning student, and Erin Smith, undergraduate planning student, for being outstanding student citizens and contributing to the well-being of their fellow students and to the School of Planning! 

In addition to the many hours both students devoted to the never ending mound of assignments and group projects, they dedicated the remainder of their time to various student committees and events.

The School of Planning congratulates the graduating Class of 2016! Prior to the official ceremony held at the PAC, School of Planning graduands participated in the annual graduation luncheon and presentation of rings. The ring is a symbol oftheir membership in an exclusive group: Alumni of The School of Planning at Waterloo. The ceremony was a huge success and featured speeches from Kevin Yeung, a graduate student in the School of Planning, Justine Giancola, an alumnus of the school and Laura Hagerman, a graduate of the Class of 2016.
