Programs

One school - Four faculties

The School of Accounting and Finance offers five undergraduate and four graduate degree programs to lead you to the professional business career you've always wanted. Arts, Environment, Math, and Science have joined together to create a dynamic, multifaceted, experiential learning environment that tailors your degree to suit your needs.

Four of our undergraduate programs hold the highest level of national accreditation from CPA Canada, offering students a direct pathway to the CPA designation. The AFM and CFM undergraduate programs are accredited through the CFA University Affiliation program, preparing students to challenge the CFA exams as early as Year 4. Students also develop the skills to take on the CBV, CSC, ISP, and ITCP designations if they desire.

Waterloo students are brilliant, extraordinary individuals and exceptional leaders; year over year, they are the most sought-after students.

I have worked with many University of Waterloo undergrad co-op students and MAcc graduates over the years, and they have made a significant contribution to the success of our firm. I am consistently impressed by their technical capability, project management skill and strong work ethic. Each student shows a true willingness to learn new skills and work together as a team to provide the best solutions for our clients.
