How I get involved: I am an FDA(front desk assistant) with campus housing and currently working at V1, REV, and MKV! Additionally, I am a volunteer with science outreach and will be participating in their chemistry lab days! I am also part of the pre-pharmacy club, the boba club and the UW hiphop club (all as general members!).
Why I love my program
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose the university of Waterloo initially because of their pharmacy program and the structural difference of their program versus other schools. However, once I dug further into the life science programs, I was drawn to the structure of the programs and the freedom the Honours science program provides. The program doesn't have a co-op. However, it still provides many opportunities for hands-on learning with many different high-technology labs. Furthermore, I appreciate the 2-year undergrad program offered to those who want to apply to pharmacy in their second year, as it is a faster way to achieve my goal.
