The UWaterloo Life team was created to streamline student communications, insights and systems across units through collaboration and facilitating a coordinated approach to engaging with the student community. Our vision is to create a student-first approach to an equitable and engaging UWaterloo life that enhances the student experience and connection to the University through leading-edge, collaborative communications, insights, and systems initiatives.
Student Communications
Improving the student experience through targeted, consistent, coordinated communications. We do this by streamlining collaboration across units to reduce duplication and competition for student audiences. We're leveraging tools and channels to provide a foundation for this way of working.
Student Insights
Creating a stronger connection with students by bringing their voices into our initiatives and meeting students where they are and need us to be. We do this by conducting student consultation groups, intercepts, surveys and pulling insights from the data.
Student Systems
We're working with campus partners on improving student systems integrations to refine the digital student experience and provide useful tools for navigating student life. We do this by integrating systems with UWaterloo Portal, the digital student assistant at Waterloo.
