Astronomy on Tap is back in KW, so join us to sit back, relax, and learn about the Universe, while also having a couple of drinks and a bit of fun!

Whether they're studying the planets of our Solar System, or distant galaxies billions of light years away, astronomers use telescopes to learn about our Universe. Many of these are unrecognisable from the first telescopes built 400 years ago -- they can orbit the Earth, while watching millions of objects in the furthest regions of space.

At Astronomy on Tap this month, we'll be hearing all about the telescopes astronomers use, and the science these allow them to carry out. Ana Ennis will describe the journey from the first telescopes, to the modern state-of-the-art space observatories. Then, Cam Morgan will talk about Canada's involvement in future astronomy missions, and what we hope these will tell us about our Universe.

Doors at 7:15pm | 8pm start | 19+
