Astronomy on Tap is back in KW, so join us to sit back, relax, and learn about the Universe, while also having a couple of drinks and a bit of fun!

Almost everything we can see in the night sky is part of a galaxy: huge objects made of gases, dark matter, and billions of stars, all held together by gravity. But, no too galaxies are the same, and when we look out into our Universe we see an incredible diversity of strange, beautiful galaxies, with different sizes, shapes, and colours.

At Astronomy on Tap this month, we'll be hearing all about these mysterious giants living throughout our Universe, from two experts working in this field of science. Liza Sazonova will introduce us to some of the weirdest galaxies we've found out there so far, and then we'll hear all about the largest galaxies in our Universe from Lammim Ahad.
