Title: Cosmological inference from DESI galaxies and CMB lensing

Abstract: The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) is constructing the largest 3D map of the Universe to date, spanning 10 billion years of cosmic history. Several key observables derived from spectroscopic galaxy catalogs can be used to constrain cosmological parameters and probe the Universe's expansion history. I will describe my work developing tools to jointly model the redshift-space galaxy-galaxy power spectrum, post-reconstruction BAO, and cross-correlations with CMB lensing. These methods enable us to obtain stringent constraints on clustering amplitudes, the matter abundance, the Universe's expansion rate, and dark energy. I will present some of my results based on DESI DR1 galaxies, the DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys, and CMB lensing maps from Planck and ACT. Finally, I will forecast the expected constraining power of DESI's next data release (DR2), for which this analysis is expected to be unblinded in the coming weeks.
