The Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics is collaborating with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada to celebrate the 2025 total lunar eclipse on the night of March 13-14. Join us for a night of stargazing (and moongazing!).
We will be gathering with members of the KW Astronomy Club in Parking Lot E (TBC) on Seagram Drive from 11:30pm onwards, with telescopes pointed skywards. The partial lunar eclipse will begin at 1:09am, with totality -- the dramatic "blood moon" -- starting at 2:26am.
Wrap up warm, bring a flask of coffee, and enjoy the last total lunar eclipse in Ontario until 2029!
