Ahmed Hamouda is a MASc student in the Autonomous Systems Lab, co-supervised by Prof. Baris Fidan and Prof. Stephen Smith. His research focuses on motion planning for mobile robots in generic nonplanar environments.

Ahmed completed his undergraduate degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the German University in Cairo in July 2021. During his bachelor's degree, his research focused generally on motion planning and control of autonomous vehicles in addition to multi-vehicle intersection management using Reinforcement learning. In his spare time, Ahmed likes swimming and playing soccer.
