Nils Wilde

Nils Wilde received his BSc. and MSc. degrees from the Technical University Berlin in 2012 and 2016, respectively. In 2016 he became a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Waterloo under the co-supervision of Professor Dana Kulić and Professor Stephen L. Smith and completed his PhD in September 2020.  He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Autonomous Systems Lab until September 2021. 

He is now a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Autonomous Multi-Robots Lab at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.  


His research combines robot motion planning and human robot interaction, investigating how inexperienced users can define complex behaviours for autonomous mobile robots via active learning frameworks.
