Postdoctoral Fellow
Shamak Dutta is a Ph.D. student in the Autonomous Systems Lab. His research focuses on learning and optimization algorithms for robotic sampling. Previously, he received his bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a master's in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. During his master's degree, his research focused on correlated variability in biological and artificial neural networks. Outside of research, his interests lie in soccer, chess, cooking, and music.
