APS Viewpoint article by Xuedong Hu highlights recent work by our group that was published in Physical Review Letters. The Viewpoint article describes the electron spin resonance work lead by Mike Zhang that exploits the anisotropic hyperfine interaction to gain efficient and universal quantum control of a pair of nuclear spins indirectly, by irradiating the electron spin they are both coupled to.
Greg Holloway is awarded a WIN Nanofellowship for his research proposal on manipulating spins in quantum dots. Congratulations Greg!
Kaveh Gharavi, Jeremy Kroeker, and Greg Holloway join the group as graduate students. Welcome!
See the People page for short biographical information on the group members.
Mustafa Muhammad joins the group as a postdoctoral fellow. Welcome Mustafa!
Welcome to the new home of the Coherent Spintronics Group at the Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo.
