IAN GOUGH

Ian Gough is in the third year of his direct-entry Ph.D. in the Chemical Engineering department at McMaster University. Ian’s current research work focuses on developing advanced monitoring and control methods for continuous chromatography in the monoclonal antibody purification process. Ian graduated from McMaster’s Chemical and Bioengineering undergraduate program in 2019 with a specialization in process systems engineering, and then worked at an industrial water filtration system manufacturing company and an injectable pharmaceutical manufacturing company before beginning his Ph.D. in 2021.
