CTE at a Glance 2024-2025

CTE at a Glance: Participation in our Programs and Services

In the 2024-2025 fiscal year, CTE reached over 1,400 instructors, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and staff members through a variety of cross-disciplinary, institution-wide events and programs, including our annual conference that was attended by 422 participants. Through our programming, we provide sessions for all instructors as well as events designed for specific audiences such as the Fundamentals of University Teaching Certificate, open to all graduate students, the Certificate in University Teaching, which is designed for doctoral students, as well as focused programming for new faculty.

We base our events and services on the needs of Waterloo instructors and Waterloo's institutional priorities. To complement our core programming and services, we offered custom workshops related to key institutional initiatives. Topics included sessions on accessibility, anti-racism, artificial intelligence, project-based learning, reconciliation, and wellness.
