University of Waterloo Civil, Environmental, Architectural and Geological Engineering Society (CEAGES) seeks to improve the social and professional lives of the University of Waterloo’s Civil, Environmental, Architectural and Geological Engineering students. We accomplish this by providing valuable, practical and professional experience as well as social events that ultimately foster excellence in our members.

    During March of 2021, the American Society of Civil Engineers presented the Significant Improvement award to the University of Waterloo ASCE Student Chapter. 

    The Significant Improvement award is awarded to Chapters that have shown considerable growth in activities from the previous year and takes into account the work student executives as well as members put into the Chapter.

    We are very proud to announce that the Civil, Environmental and Geological Engineering Society (CEGES) UW Chapter, has been named the President’s Best Student Chapter!

    After a thorough review of annual reports from 26 student chapters by the Student Affairs committee, CEGES was awarded the top position amidst very keen competition.
