CEGES is sending a bus to the new Guelph Facility of RWDI Consulting Engineers on March 1st, 2018. The cost per person will be $10 and will include the bus ride and refreshments. Tickets can be purchased from your CEGES class reps! The bus will leave at 5:15PM from the DWE cul-de-sac along Ring Road, and will return no later than 8:30PM to the same spot.

RWDI is a wind engineering and environmental engineering consulting firm and has been featured on numerous television documentaries involving wind engineering and related services for the worlds tallest skyscrapers and landmark structures. The firm's facilities include four boundary layer wind tunnels, an open channel water flume, MM5 computer models for simulating atmospheric weather conditions and advanced computer modelling capabilities including computational fluid dynamics (CFD). RWDI also has in-house model shops at each of its wind tunnel facilities that use stereolithography technology, integrated data acquisition, storage and processing systems, computer-aided drafting, and a broad base of specialized instrumentation.
