Hope and awareness are crucial ingredients for widespread climate action. Therefore, this Earth Day, IC3 is sharing how three of our members stay motivated to tackle the climate crisis and where they find inspiration in the article Recognizing Earth Day with Hope and Awareness.

In addition, IC3's Executive Director, Sarah Burch, spoke with Pamela Smyth from the Beyond the Bulletin podcast. Her episode is out now and highlights why it's still important to continue recognizing Earth Day in light of the recent findings from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's new report, Climate Change 2022: Mitigation of Climate Change

Need a little further inspiration? Join leading climate scientist, Katharine Hayhoe, for a conversation on Hope & Climate Change. She will discuss strategies for scaling up individual and collective climate action, and how to navigate difficult conversations about our changing planet. She will also address your most pressing questions and weigh in on what we’re all wondering – is there hope? We hope to see you there. Happy Earth Day!

The science on climate change is clear – urgent action is required to deal with the increasing risks of a warming planet. So, what can we do? On April 27, join Professor Sarah Burch as she speaks with climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe, who The New York Times called “one of the nation's most effective communicators on climate change.” They’ll discuss strategies for scaling up individual and collective climate action, and how to navigate difficult conversations about our changing planet. They’ll also address your most pressing questions and weigh in on what we’re all wondering – is there hope?
