Managing, Motivating and Engaging Remote Workers: November 18
Given the growing trend for employees to work remotely on a full- or part-time basis, this half-day event features several experts who will share their insights on managing, motivating, and engaging employees who work remotely. While there are numerous benefits to using remote workers, there are also challenges both from the perspective of the employer and the employee. The purpose of the event will be to draw on the expertise of our keynote speaker and panelists in discussing some of these benefits and sharing ideas about how to deal with some of the potential challenges. This event is eligible for 2.5 CPD hours for CPA members.

Keynote address and Panelist: Josh Zweig, CPA, CA (CEO, LiveCA) |
When Josh originally set out to pursue his CPA designation, it was so that he could gain a skill to make an impact on the businesses where he'd work and launch an exciting career. Unfortunately, there aren’t that many prime-time television accountant dramas and often CPAs will find themselves at odds with a certain public image, expressed in a “but you don’t look like an accountant” comment. |
