The ACM Senior Member program recognizes individuals with at least 10 years of professional experience who have demonstrated performance through technical leadership and technical or professional contributions.

Along with Fellows and Distinguished Members, ACM’s Senior Members join a distinguished cadre of colleagues to whom ACM and its members look for guidance and leadership in computing and information technology.

In his award letter to Daudjee, Sathish Vadhiyar, chair of the ACM Senior Member Committee, wrote, “On behalf of ACM, we are delighted that you will be among the inductees honoured with the designation and wish to congratulate you on this well-deserved recognition.

ACM Senior Membership represents an important career milestone and has become a globally acknowledged and respected distinction. It is emblematic of a high degree of professional competency, and acts as a measure by which peers and employers can acknowledge technical expertise and professional accomplishments.

“Khuzaima brings a strong systems-oriented approach to the work of the Data Systems research group and he is a world-class researcher on high-performance large-scale data management, focusing on problems related to managing data in the cloud and on modern hardware,” said Mark Giesbrecht, Director of the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science. “Congratulations on this much-deserved recognition from ACM, the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society.”
