Frankly, waiting until you get to university to gain leadership training and experience is too late. You will be disadvantaged! Now is the time to hone your inter-personal and networking savvy to improve your verbal and presentation skills and to become a more assertive, well-rounded student!
Where will this conference be held?
This conference will be held at Balsillie School of International Affairs, 67 Erb Street West Waterloo, ON N2L 6C2
Will lunch be provided?
Lunch will be provided, however please list your dietary restrictions on the Eventbrite registration, the meals provided will be Nut-free.
Please note, if you have any allergies, please ensure you bring your EpiPen or any other necessary medication with you. While we strive to provide a safe environment, we are not responsible for managing individual medical conditions. Having your medication on hand is essential in case of an emergency.
Who can attend this conference?
Students presently in grades 9 -12 are welcome to register. Students do not have to be a member of DECA to attend.
Will the conference be recorded?
Yes, please note that certain parts of the conference will be recorded for future reference and distribution. If you have any concerns about being recorded, please let us know in advance.
What is the dress code?
Business Casual.
Are parents allowed to part take?
No, this conference is designed for students only.
