This year’s DECA Grit Conference, hosted by the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) at the University of Waterloo in partnership with Ontario DECA, will give you the opportunity to develop your skills with guidance from SAF faculty and current students. You will explore leadership-driven decision-making, apply sustainable practices and learn how to leverage technology effectively.
The afternoon will then transition to putting these skills to the test through a financial analysis case study presentation.

Please note that the event is non-refundable; however, in the event of a cancellation, a credit will be applied toward future School of Accounting and Finance and DECA-partnered events.
The conference will take place on June 13, 2026, at Hagey Hall (HH) at the University of Waterloo.
