This was a busy winter term for the AquaGHG Lab as they presented a total of 11 posters at four meetings, including at the annual meeting for the Society of Canadian Aquatic Sciences (SCAS) in Hamilton, ON in February.
The Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO) have recognized Tonya as a 2024 Sustaining Fellow for her contributions to the society and the aquatic community.
Shayna Meinzinger has completed her MSc fieldwork after an intense year of sampling 7 wetlands on different farms across southern Ontario.
Sara Abate, a research assistant in the AquaGHG Lab, and Zachary Baker won the award for Best Undergraduate Poster at the World Wetlands Day 2025 for their undergraduate capstone project titled ‘A Multi-Criteria Analysis of the Optimal Locations for Restored Wetlands in the Grand River Watershed’.
