The Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO) have recognized Tonya as a 2024 Sustaining Fellow for her contributions to the society and the aquatic community.
Shayna Meinzinger has completed her MSc fieldwork after an intense year of sampling 7 wetlands on different farms across southern Ontario.
Sara Abate, a research assistant in the AquaGHG Lab, and Zachary Baker won the award for Best Undergraduate Poster at the World Wetlands Day 2025 for their undergraduate capstone project titled ‘A Multi-Criteria Analysis of the Optimal Locations for Restored Wetlands in the Grand River Watershed’.
