McKenzie Huneke is a SSHRC Doctoral Fellow in Sustainability Management in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development at the University of Waterloo. He researches responsible innovation and inclusive technology design that support regional sustainability transitions. Through this work, he explores topics related to rural development, community-led innovation, green entrepreneurship, and clean/climate technology across a variety of industries and contexts. McKenzie is an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corp Fellow and holds a Master of Science in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington and Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
