Research Assistant & PhD Candidate
McKenzie Huneke is a PhD candidate in Sustainability Management in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development at the University of Waterloo. He researches place-based design, development, and impacts of emerging technologies that support sustainability transitions within agriculture and food systems. Through this work, he explores topics related to responsible innovation, inclusive design, and rural development. McKenzie is an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corp Fellow and holds a Master of Science in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington and Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
