Engineering Science Quest (ESQ) offers online registration for its programs. The following explains how to register as well as various policies surrounding registration.
How to register
Please register your child based on their date of birth!
The fastest and easiest way to register for our programs is online. Our new online registration system allows for much more flexibility when managing accounts and registrations. It is kept to the standards the school has for electronic commerce transactions.
The registration system is PCI compliant and meets industry e-commerce standards. The system is provided and supported by Legend Ware.
Registration availability is updated in real-time on this site. If there are no spots available, you will be able to register directly to the waiting list for that camp. Registration is only 100% confirmed when it's added to the cart and payment is processed. If a registration is left in the cart and the user logs off or leaves the computer, the registration spot will remain available until payment is processed.
Registration is only confirmed when payment is made.
*Please note that all Summer 2018 registrations will start from scratch in the new system. No information from the previous system will be migrated over. If you are looking for information for past March Break events or Clubs, those details are still available in the old system.*
If you require a receipt from a past year of registration you may access that information on the old system. Any emails sent requesting this information will direct parents to the previous online system.
ESQ accepts payment via credit card or Debit.
We do not accept cash or cheque payment.
Credit Card and debit payment must be made through our online registration system, we are not able to process payment on the phone or in person.
Before you proceed with Registration please read through the following policies:
Our camps are divided into age groups - each age group offers several programs each week (i.e. Banting A, Banting B, Banting C). All camps run each week for the entire summer. Depending on the chosen camps and age of your child, you can register for up to four weeks of unique experiences. These weeks do not have to be in a row.
We are unable to accommodate requests for exceeding the maximum number of weeks for a given camp. This is in order to ensure that as many campers as possible are able to experience ESQ.
|CAMP NAME||GRADES||MAX. WEEKS PER CAMPER|

With generous support from our supporters, ESQ is able to offer bursaries for our summer camp program. A bursary can cover up to 95% of the camp fee, and are awarded based on the completed application form and offer the opportunity for children who normally would not be able to afford our programs to attend. In order to ensure as many children as possible benefit from these bursaries, there is a limit of one per child per summer.
The application package can be found in our download section.
Engineering Science Quest strives to ensure that all campers have the support they need to be successful in camp. Thanks to the sponsorship of Motorola Solutions Foundation, our Program Support helps children who have special needs attend our program. Our Program Assistants will provide support and facilitate the accommodations for children with special needs into the ESQ Summer Camp program. The Program Assistants receive in-depth training in preparation for this position.
With this program we are able to offer limited "low ratio Program Assistants" and "as-needed" support. If you believe that your child could benefit from this service, please contact ESQ by emailing email@example.com and/or check off the "Request Program Support" box on the registration form.
There are a limited number of Program Assistants available each week, however every effort will be made to ensure that every child will receive the support they need. Program Assistants are assigned based on the degree of the need and on a first-come-first-serve basis. For more information see our Accessibility Policy available on our download page.
Regular pick up time is between 4 and 5 PM. If you are late to pick up your child, you will be subject to our late camper pick up fee of $5 for 10 minutes per child. For example, if you pick up your child at 5:09, it will cost $5. If you pick up your child at 5:11 it will cost $10.
In the summer we also offer Extended Care. While our normal pick up time is from 4 PM to 5 PM, Extended Care extends the pick up time to 5:30 PM. Extended Care is offered at a cost of $40 per child for one week of camp.
If you book Extended Care and arrive after 5:30 PM, you will be subject to our late camper pick up fee of $5 for 10 minutes per child.
If arrangements for cancellations are made with ESQ with more than 2 weeks notice to the start of the intended registered session, a full refund minus a 25% processing fee will be given. Cancellation requests with less than 2 weeks notice will be charged a 50% processing fee. There are no refunds for cancellations given with less then 48 hours notice regardless of cause.
NOTE: There is no charge for switching weeks of camp (pending availability).
If the camp session your interested in is full, you will be able to register for the waiting list directly in the system. If the camp is full the system automatically adds to the waiting list.
When a spot is available our office will contact you via email with directions on how to claim or pass on the offered spot. Please note that in this email, it will mention a time frame that you have to claim your spot by. If you don't claim the offered spot by this deadline, we will offer the camp spot to another person on the waiting list.
There are many factors that influence the wait list. For that reason we do not give out information in regards to length or position.
Commitment to barrier free programming
We believe that every child should have the right to experience our programs to their fullest potential. In order to help us achieve this goal, ESQ offers both a bursary and support program. Our Program Support has been made possible by Motorola Solutions Foundation.
