Raphael is a PhD Candidate with the School of Planning, University of Waterloo. He takes an interdisciplinary approach to his research, drawing on environmental economics, environmental justice, and environmental governance to study the governance of working landscapes. Prior to this, Raphael completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Development Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. Raphael’s PhD research is supervised by Professor Jeremy Pittman.
