Friesen Prize Lecture with Dr. Zulfiqar Bhutta

University of Waterloo faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the Friesen Prize Lecture from 11 a.m. to noon featuring Dr. Zulfiqar Bhutta, recipient of the 2023 Henry G. Friesen International Prize in Health Research, awarded by Friends of CIHR. In addition to Dr. Bhutta's presentation, 'Addressing maternal and child health and sustainable development: the do's and don'ts of doing so equitably,' there will be an earlier panel discussion, 'Sustainable development goals for women & children,' from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. featuring Waterloo faculty members Susan Elliott, Hannah Tait Neufeld, Charity Oga-Omenka and Zahid Butt. Registration is required as space is limited.
