Future Cities Innovation Challenge Finals

Join us to see the top eight student teams competing to be crowned the winners of the Spring 2026 Future Cities Innovation Challenge. ​​

Teams will showcase the solutions they have developed for the past two weeks, as well as answer questions from our panel of expert judges, and demonstrate the impact and potential of their ideas as they vie for top honours in front of industry leaders, partners, and judges. ​​

The Future Cities Innovation Challenge is hosted by Velocity, the entrepreneurial hub at the University of Waterloo.
