Hosted by Dr. Christopher Stuart Taylor, associate vice-president, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-racism, and featuring guests Dwayne Morgan, poet and social entrepreneur, Teneile Warren, writer and community advocate, David Delisca, spoken word poet, writer, actor and comedian, and a drumming performance by Bring on the Sunshine.

About the speakers
David Delisca is a writer, poet, actor and humorist. A versatile artist, he uses stories about the immigrant and diasporic experience, as well as other various human realities, to bridge realms of communication. His works and performances have been featured in Toronto Star, CBC, Netflix.
Dwayne Morgan is affectionately called The Godfather of Canadian spoken word by his peers. He has been a professional spoken word artist since 1993, with 14 books, 9 albums, and performances in 18 countries internationally under his belt.
Christopher Stuart Taylor is an assistant professor in the Department of History and in the Arts First program. His scholarship includes race and racism, Black Canadian history, Caribbean history, Slavery in the Americas, and Black identity.
Teneile Warren is a Nonbinary, Queer, Black, immigrant identifying intersectional equity educator and consultant, who delivers trainings, creates policies, and guides diversity and equity and inclusion strategic planning across several sectors. They are currently the Equity and Inclusion Officer for the Waterloo Region District School Board.
