Are you looking to solve big problems, but you’re not sure where to start? In this 50-minute online workshop, Rachel Figueiredo, Waterloo’s entrepreneurship librarian, will show you how to search across academic, industry and openly available information to get a full picture of your problem space. By integrating new and familiar search tools, attendees will learn how to research efficiently so they can get back to solving problems.

For a Keeping Well at Work special event, join us, in partnership with the Cultivating Talent: A Mentorship Collective, for an interactive morning with guest speaker Natalie Stuart from Connect2You to learn about building your personal brand, ways to invest in cultivating meaningful connections with others, and strategies to ensure you are gaining access to a diversity of perspectives throughout your personal and professional life.

This workshop will focus on using technical tools, Covidence, to streamline the review process, as well as a reference manager, Zotero, to work with the search results from your structured review to generate in-cite citations and an automated bibliography.

Systematic and scoping reviews require a rigorous and reproducible search methodology. This workshop, a combination of presentation and interactive activities, outlines the expectations of a systematic search and provides practical experience in developing a search methodology which meets systematic standards.

In this session, you will gain practical tips for communicating complex scientific concepts to an informed audience. You will learn how to identify your audience, develop engaging and impactful messages that spark interest and enthusiasm, and use plain language to enhance the accessibility and readability of your work.

This is a three-part workshop that journeys through First Nations, Inuit, and Metis relations with settlers. As the title indicates, you don't know what you don't know so everyone is welcome. You will be introduced to the concept of Miskasowin (wholistic self-evaluation) that will define content, context, and relationship promoting further action, accountability, and responsibilities as a treaty person in this land now known as Canada.

• Some insight into future directions of where this platform could be taken
