What Were You Wearing? Art Exhibit
The Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Office (SVPRO), in partnership with the Sexual Assault Domestic Violence Treatment Centre (SADVTC), is bringing the What Were You Wearing? Art Exhibit to UWaterloo. The exhibit is based on student-survivor descriptions of the clothes they were wearing when they were sexually assaulted. Sexual assault survivors are often asked, “what were you wearing?”, implying that what someone is wearing is the cause of their assault.

Beyond the Pipeline: Fostering Equity in Our Quantum Future
The field of quantum computing offers a unique opportunity to proactively address many of the inequities that have plagued AI and computer science. However, radical technologies demand innovative solutions. In this talk, the speaker challenges the use of the leaky pipeline metaphor as a framework for devising policy interventions aimed at addressing inequality in STEM field.
