On September 20, 2024, new faculty and their colleagues gathered for a fun and engaging buffet-style dinner at the New Faculty & Family Social/Welcome Dinner. This event is an important, official welcome to the University community, and a chance for new faculty to form connections with their colleagues and campus partners. This event occurs each fall.
This family-friendly event featured supervised activities for children of all ages and a visit from the iconic King Warrior - a fan favourite of the evening.
Dr. Christine McWebb shared, "This event is such a wonderful opportunity not only to meet new colleagues but also their families in an informal setting. With all the activities provided, kids and adults have a great time."
