The Office of the Associate Vice-President, Faculty and Academic Life is proud to host the University of Waterloo’s annual event, You@Waterloo - New Faculty Orientation.
Held at the beginning of the academic year, the New Faculty Orientation event is an interactive series of discussion circles and presentations designed to acclimate new faculty members to the University. Information sessions provide an overview of topics that include Research, Teaching, Service and Leadership, Employment and Governance, Equity on Campus, Indigenous Relations, and Co-operative and Experiential Education.
You@Waterloo - New Faculty Orientation is an opportunity for new faculty members to connect with their peers and with many senior members of the University, including the President; the Vice President, Academic and Provost; the Associate Vice-President, Faculty and Academic Life; the President of the Faculty Association, as well as representatives from Human Resources and the Faculty Association of the University of Waterloo.
