Tyler is a Master's student in Psychology (Cognitive Neuroscience) under the supervision of Dr. Mike Dixon and Dr. Daniel Smilek. 

His research interests include slot machine play and the “zone” that some players report while playing multiline slot machines. More generally, he is also interested in the everyday experience of attentional states such as mind-wandering and flow.
