Danièle Sauvageau

Fresh off her induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame as the first female Honoured Member in the Builder Category, trailblazing coach and executive Danièle Sauvageau will bring her decades of leadership experience to the Hub for Sustainability Integration Conference this October.

With a legacy that spans six Olympic Games, gold-medal victories, and the founding of professional women’s hockey programs, Sauvageau is widely celebrated for reshaping the landscape of Canadian sport. As General Manager of Montréal Victoire in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) and a lifelong advocate for high-performance, inclusive teams, her leadership has made a lasting mark.

Sauvageau’s experience in building systems that endure – from the rink to the boardroom – mirror the goals of sustainable development: equity, inclusion and organizational integrity. In her keynote presentation, Leading Through Uncharted Territory, she will explore what it takes to lead with resilience, integrity and long-term vision. Drawing from high-performance sport, executive leadership and personal experience, she’ll offer powerful insights into balancing short-term demands with a future-focused mindset and navigating the unknown.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of Canada’s most inspiring leaders.

Join us this October at the Hub for Sustainability Integration Conference, hosted by the University of Waterloo’s School of Accounting and Finance and School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED), to hear from Danièle and other thought leaders driving sustainability forward.
