The Infant & Child Studies Group is co-directed by Dr. Katherine White and Dr. Stephanie Denison, who are both assistant professors in the Psychology Department at the University of Waterloo.
Together, our goal is to conquer the perplexing question of how infants learn.
Dr. White runs the Lab for Infant Development and Language (LIDL), which focuses on the earliest stages of language development in infants and toddlers.
Dr. Denison runs the Developmental Learning Lab (DLL), which focuses on cognitive development in infants and young children, mostly as it relates to learning and development.
The Infant & Child Studies Group also includes graduate and undergraduate students who are passionate about developmental psychology.
